I had written this a while ago in one of my many thoughts about people and the world. It still holds true to this day.
I’m not easy on Miss M ~ but she loves me anyway.
I make her mind ~ she loves me anyway.
I teach her the difference between right and wrong ~ she loves me anyway.
I expect her to act like a lady ~ she loves me anyway.
I demand respect ~ she loves me anyway.
I give her rules ~ she loves me anyway.
She has a bedtime, even in the summer ~ she loves me anyway.
I am the toothbrushing act warden ~ she loves me anyway.
We fuss at each other ~ she loves me anyway.
She has responsibilities ~ she loves me anyway.
She’s not allowed to act like some of her peers ~ she loves me anyway.
She is to be a leader not a follower ~ she loves me anyway.
She is to call adults Mr. & Mrs. until they tell her otherwise ~ she loves me anyway.
It’s ok to make kids mind, have manners and respect others and their elders. They will love you anyway.
