Our March family dinner was fun and The Greats have a couple of new traditions! The time changed today giving us an extra hour of daylight. I’ll trade an hour of sleep for more daylight!!!
For dinner, I served cabbage, onion, potato and kielbasa packets along with homemade mac & cheese, flat green beans, sautéed onions, jalapeño and cheese brats, hot dogs, mini cornbread muffins, cake and ice cream.

Uncle Greg prepared a spot for a lollipop garden before The Greats arrived. They planted purple, red and orange jellybeans in hopes that lollipops sprout by the time they come for Family Dinner in April.

Afterward, it was time to make Leprechaun Traps! Watching their young minds work is pure enjoyment for me. For weeks, I’ve collected boxes and toilet paper rolls while gathering decorative supplies. Dollar Tree for the win!!

While The Greats worked on their masterpieces, my big boys brought up the dining table for the patio! She’s heavy and walking uphill backwards for those on that end isn’t easy!

Family Dinner Table
We always capture a family selfie before the first one has to leave.

My oldest nephew is a Sergeant on our county Sheriff’s Department. I love that he was able to eat dinner with us prior going to work and for the opportunity to go direct from our house giving me the ability to send him off with a full belly and a hug.
The Greats always conclude our gatherings with a dance party and get measured on the wall in the pantry. And, I can’t think of a better way.
XOXO ~ PGWW
