Coffee & Conversation with GW ~

As we wind down our Christmas vacation, GW and I took some time to have coffee and conversation by the glow of the Christmas tree. He’s been enjoying Christmas vacation since December 15th. My vacation started December 23rd. He goes back tomorrow. I go back on Monday.

I must say that this time off hasn’t flown by blessedly and intentionally. The calendar hasn’t been jammed pack full of activities. The to do list has been kept at a minimal. We’ve done what we have wanted with some things completed that had to be done. Like taking my car to Columbus for the day to have a new windshield put in due to a rock chip that turned into a split clear across to the driver’s side. Harr’s Auto Glass is a family owned and have been in business for over 50 years. I highly recommend them. When the chip happened, Greg called our dealership and they referred us to Harr’s. When they didn’t hesitate and didn’t put him on hold to get a recommendation nor to find the number, we knew Miss Roush would be in good hands.

Over coffee, we discussed what we would like to do this year as in trips and goals. We are in the beginning process of looking for a second home and where we would like that to be. I really want to be able to conveniently fly in wherever the second home may be. That way should McKenzie and my mom want to go for a weekend, a week, or a month it will be easy access for them as well.

**** This has lived in my drafts for two weeks now 🤦🏼‍♀️ **** We are back to work with three snow days thrown in three for me this week! Not sad about it one little bit. The trees and all Christmas decor are properly put away for the season. Valentine decor up. Family Dinner menus being planned.
